Swing It Like You Mean It is a full on workshop weekend with multi US Open Swing Dance Champions Kyle Redd And Sarah Vann Drake. Not only will you get 6 hours of amazing, top level workshops from these two incredible dancers, but Damon and Lisa are excited to announce that they will be offering 2 hours of a beginner track so no one will be left out. All of this to be included in your weekend ticket price. Please remember that workshops will be for all levels….but having a good understanding of what WCS is will be recommended in order to get the most out of the class.
Not only will this be a fantastic workshop weekend….but D’Amico Dance is proud to announce a full weekend of exciting competitions offering EVERYTHING from Routine categories in Pro-Am, Junior, Rising Star, Masters & Professional. We will offer Strictly Swing in Pro-Am, Junior, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters & Pro. J&J’s wil be offered in Junior, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters & Pro. As always…it will be BYOB ALL WEEKEND LONG. We will sell set ups. Now you can enjoy your favorite booze, jello shots, pudding shots..whatever tickles your fancy without breaking the bank with expensive drink prices. We have Whole foods grocery next door and a liquor store across the street. We also have about 6 really good restaurant’s in our parking lot. No car necessary to get anything you need including the Hotel which is also next door to D’Amico Dance.

ENDLESS SUMMER SWING CAMP
October 12-14, 2012
These workshops will be unlike any classes that you would attend at a major convention. They will be directly tailored to the level of the students and will move at an accelerated pace.
Along with high level workshops, it will be an intimate setting with only 200 tickets being sold. There will be plenty of social dancing with 2 nights of parties, and a Saturday night Pro Show with some great Performances.

Junior Latin Program with Michael Blanco and Jessica Cubelli!
Michael and Jessica are nationally competitive ballroom dancers, just like you see on Dancing With The Stars. They are one of the top latin dance couples in Texas. They compete and perform all around the world. They are not only incredible performers, but world-class instructors. Michael and Jessica specialize in the International Latin Style of competitive ballroom dancing, but are also known for their excellence in teaching a variety of Social dances. Their charisma and passion for dance keeps anyone around them enchanted. Michael and Jessica specialize in the development of Junior and Youth Latin and Ballroom programs in the state of Texas, and now they are bringing it to D’Amico Dance!

Damon and Lisa D’Amico are passionate about dancing and have been teaching West Coast Swing and Country Western dance lessons since 1991, and in Houston since 1998. They both hold many titles in both country and swing, and are still active competitors on both circuits. As an integral part of the Houston dance community, Damon and Lisa specialize in fun, to-the-point instruction designed to build confidence and get people dancing faster.
